OfHouses presents “Pritzkers’ First Houses, part IV”: Frank Gehry (Pritzker 1989) completed his first built works at around the same time. Both the Melvin David Cabin (a nondescript pitched roof retreat lacking any significant architectural features) and the much larger Steeves Residence fail to announce the playfulness and the brilliance that would become synonymous with Gehry’s later career.
