Gian Piero Frassinelli, Santa Croce sull’Arno, Pisa, Italy, 1976

OfHouses presents “ Solo Albums ”: ”Gian Pierro Frassinelli was one of the members of the Italian
avant-garde radical group Superstudio. Superstudio was of course famous
for their paper architectures, films and performances. It is very
difficult to discern the authorship of their built work; the only
certainty is that their few completed interiors and buildings were still
a group effort. Frassinelli‘s “Taddei House“ (1976) is perhaps the
first to claim the sole-authorship and marked the split of the group.” (Photos: © Superstudio Archive. Source: Domus 569, April 1977, p. 38; Google Street View .)
