Plečnik‘s brilliant interventions on the Prague Castle would have been
impossible without Rothmayer’s involvement. Rothmayer never escaped his
master’s influence (and, perhaps, he never even tried). Rothmayer‘s own
House in Břevnov (1929) is an (almost) exact replica of Plečnik‘s “Villa
Stadion” (1928). Still, with minimal alterations, the “Rothmayer Villa”
