Frank Lloyd Wright, South Woodlawn, Chicago, USA, 1908-10

OfHouses guest curated by Nanne de Ru ( Powerhouse Company ): “Frank Lloyd Wright designed the house for the 27 year old
businessman Frederick Robie and his family. Mr. Robie knew exactly what he
wanted and therefore educated the otherwise arrogant Wright into this unique
design that further informed more radical villas afterwards. Mr. Robie was a
car enthusiast and had a one of a kind car completely adjusted to his needs.” (Photos: © Ezra Stoller/ESTO.)
